I came Sunday with high expectation for what the Lord would have in our midst. Though I wasn't feeling well physically that morning, I gave the sacrifice of praise. What a blessing this message was and is! My testimony during all of the key moments in life was/is His whisper, the nudge, that came with His kind of peace that passes all understanding. Understanding is not always fruitful at the moment that His whisper comes, but in retrospect His path is obvious. I am so glad that Pastor Eric obeyed the Lord and choose the whisper from the Lord at that round about. Because of his obedience he gave encouragement to people that is priceless. Pastor Eric's one choice added more value in the Kingdom of God than any bowl of Esau's soup. For how he demonstrated integrity, love, truth and a heart after God, how he reached out to people in good and bad times all became treasure laid at Jesus' feet through the lives of the people that he blessed. All because of God's whisper. What an example for us all to follow! That we too won't accept Esau's bowl of soup no matter what form it may take, but be diligent to hear and follow the voice of the Lord. Whispers. Not the loud noises, the thunders or the 'strong encouragement' and so on...just His whispers. Lord we bless You with our ears attentive. Your sheep, Lord Jesus, hear Your voice and another voice they'll not follow.
