Another Great Men's Prayer

I just got home from Men’s prayer tonight and I must say I left there feeling much better then when I came in.  We had an awesome time reading God’s word and praying for the healing of some men who couldn’t make it tonight.  It’s funny, God always seems to meet us right where we are at.  After every Tuesday night prayer I walk away with just what I needed.  A lot of times it is encouragement, or direction I am looking for.  God has way of saying, “Just come and focus on Me for a little while and I will show you what to do.”  I can honestly say He never fails.

If you have never made it out on a Tuesday night at 8:30 or a Wednesday at noon for Men’s prayer I would encourage you to try it.  I guarantee you will leave feeling different then when you come in.

If you already come to Men’s prayer I would love to hear what you think.  Feel free to leave a comment or drop me a line.

Either way I hope to see you soon.

Eric

Hey Eric,
I agree!
I usually try to be at every prayer meeting and last night was one of the times when I wasn't doing well. So I was one of the ones who called for prayer.
After prayer I do "feel all better now", so I try not to miss it!

I can say that this morning (Wednesday) I am all better! Praise the Lord and will be at the noon prayer today.

Whether it is encouragement, direction, healing or whatever the prayer of agreement opens the door for God to do what He plans.

I wrote in a blog the other day that the humble hearted see many opportunities while the proud or fearful hearted miss a lot of important opportunities.

The scripture from Titus 3:3 kind of says a lot:
Titus 3:3
It wasn't so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back. But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit. Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously. God's gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives. And there's more life to come—an eternity of life! You can count on this.

And you can count on the fact that going to prayer and being in agreement opens the door for God to do His best on your behalf.

In Christ,
Ben

We just came in right off the bat and waited on the Lord.

It was awesome! We came in and took our focus off of everything that was going on in our lives, and we focuses on the Lord.

Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.

He renewed my strength!

this morning as i write this i'm still full of joy from getting together with godly men and praying.
